What is DocNote?

DocNote is an AI medical scribe for physicians, surgeons and hospitals. During a consultation, ward round or procedure it listens, transcribes in real time, and drafts a structured report that the doctor reviews and validates before it reaches the patient record.

It was built by doctors who still work in hospital care, and it shows in the output: discharge letters, ward-round notes, operative reports and emergency department notes, each following the structure of the relevant specialty. More than 50 specialties and 20+ languages are supported, including the code-switching that is routine in multilingual hospitals.

Health data is hosted in Europe, encrypted in transit and at rest, never used to train models, and deleted within 7 days. Physicians report saving more than two hours of admin work per day.

Use cases

When to use DocNote

DocNote covers the documentation that fills a hospital day, not just the outpatient consultation.

Discharge letters

The letter to the GP, written from the encounter itself, with billable diagnoses surfaced and coding suggestions attached.

Ward-round notes

Dictate as you move between beds and get a clean progress note per patient, instead of reconstructing the round later.

Operative reports

Dictate the report straight after the procedure, while the detail is fresh, and validate a structured CRO.

Emergency department

Notes written between patients, at the pace of the department, instead of piling up until the end of a shift.

Collaborative day hospital

Several caregivers, one shared patient file. DocNote merges every contribution into one auditable record.

Medical coding and billing

Coding stops being a second pass. Billable diagnoses are highlighted where they appear, with codes attached.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is DocNote and how does it work?
DocNote records the consultation, transcribes it in real time, and generates a structured medical report: consultation note, discharge letter, operative report or ward-round note. The physician reviews and validates it before it reaches the patient's electronic health record.
Is DocNote compliant with health data regulations?
Yes. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, hosted exclusively in certified European data centres, compliant with GDPR, HIPAA and ISO 27001. Health data is deleted within 7 days of processing and never used to train AI models.
Which medical specialties does DocNote support?
More than 50, from general practice and internal medicine to surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, neurology, oncology, anesthesiology, emergency medicine and radiology. Reports follow the terminology and structure of each specialty.
How much time does DocNote save?
On average, more than two hours of administrative work per day. A note that took 5 to 10 minutes to write is drafted in seconds, leaving a quick medical review before validation.
How much does DocNote cost and is there a free trial?
30 consultations free with full Professional features and no credit card. The Professional plan is €89 per month, or €79 per month billed yearly. Custom Enterprise plans are available for hospitals.
Who is responsible for the final medical record?
The physician. DocNote drafts the report, but nothing reaches the patient file until the doctor has reviewed and validated it. The tool removes the typing, not the clinical judgement.
